Introduction

CCL (SEA) Holdings was incorporated in Malaysia in 2009 as 50:50 joint venture between China Container Line and Malaysian interest.

CCL( SEA) was established purely asa holding and investment vehicle to establish a presence within South astAsia through joint venture with local individual or company.

China Container Lines relinquished shares in CCL (SEA) at November 2013 to Malaysian interest after merger with LF LOGISTICS. Current shareholding of CCL (SEA) is Dennis Dwee and Mr. Syed Mohammed.

CCL (SEA) is present in 5 countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand & Myanmar) with 14 operating subsidiary and associate companies. Current headcount number about 120 Directors, Management & Staff. Primary activities are Sea & Air Freight Forwarding, Liner Agencies and Project Logistics.

CCL (SEA) turnover crossed USD 20 Million in 2015. Combined volume turnover for Freight & Logistics and Liner Agency reached close to 20,000TEU.

CCL (SEA) plans are to widen network coverage (Cambodia & Laos within 2017; new branch offices in Indonesia & Malaysia); Diversification into warehousing & logistics (Malaysia & Indonesia); special equipment operations; short sea / feeder container shipping operations.
